It's all good news as your DC can move forward on their college journey!  My DD has made the decision that a deferral means she will go where she's been accepted and is excited about that!  She will not be waiting for the next round.  Congrats to all the new Hoos!   [/quote]

+1. In-state VA friend was waiisted at UVA but in at Michigan. She was a week into classes at Michigan when she was admitted to UVA. She packed up and went to UVA and never looked back (and her parents were thrilled with in-state tuition.[/quote]even if this was in the 90s, this couldn’t happen. I was waitlisted myself and they sent a letter in the summer saying it’s over. [/quote]
