I’m a horse guy and I stayed away from dating most horse girls.  I love them as friends, not dating so much.  Which is hard because a lot of them are attractive but they’re also no dating material for me at least.

Straight male who also rides horses. I’m currently “seeing” someone who rides at my barn. Probably the last time I date a female who rides. She is crazy and one of the most selfish people I’ve met. Trying to figure out my next steps. Just because someone “looks good” doesn’t mean they are a good GF or wife material. [/quote]

I’m not PP but also a male rider.  Bruh, why would you date a woman from your barn?  Why?  Never do that.  I mean I get it, but don’t.  If you want to date an equestrian find one who rides somewhere else.  Just do your thing and build your partnership with your horse.  I mean I know mares can be good one minute and not the next, but still less drama than dating a rider from your barn.

If she’s a trainer even worse my guy.  I wouldn’t need the person I’m dating to be judging my two-point or my seat.  Hahaha in fact that would be horrible!

Can’t offer advice on how to break up but can offer another barn to ride at if you’re in the DMV area in VA.  Unless you’re at my barn in which case I’m gonna have to know who you are because this sounds like popcorn eating material

The whole thing really is popcorn worthy and I need to work my way out of the situation. There are not any straight males where I ride so maybe I should change barns. Lots of married ladies my age (40's) and little kids. Not much in-between. [/quote]
