DP...  There was an emergency, 4 years ago.
Prices went up during the pandemic due to supply chain issues and hoarding.

There are no longer supply chain issues and people are no longer hoarding.  Companies just refused to roll prices back down to where they should be because they got greedy and are enjoying the profits too much.

The laws cited above only allow a modest increase during the emergency but are generally silent on what happens after the emergency is over.  That's why we need laws to ensure that prices also return back to normal after the emergency is over.[/quote]
