DH grew up in a house where the television was on seemingly 24/7, loud volume, and they didn't really communicate, so he did not want that. We have been to sports bars where the playoffs volume is maxed out, so people can't talk to each other, and we leave right away. So, I agree - it doesn't make us angry, we just don't put up with it.
