Your last point is why they don't want recordings, because travel kids were playing on a rec team in a tournament. It wouldn't be the first and won't be the last time these sort of shenanigans will happen, especially with weaker programs. It's not a far cry from kids that play down in age groups that they have no business being in when player cards aren't involved. Happened every winter in indoor games at the Dulles Sports Plex. DP. I have no dog in this fight, but why would a travel player come play in a rec tournament on the same weekend they have a travel tournament? All the local travel clubs were playing in tournaments that weekend. I can’t see how a travel player would have time for both. Is it possible they had a rec player who is older, or even someone not technically on the team but a good athlete that they wanted help from in the rec tournament? I feel ridiculous even typing that but we all know some parents are ridiculous. [/quote]
