Anyone get the notice for which day their individual interview will be?  I do wonder if all the calls are slowing down their process, but who knows.

I realize that this is dramatic, but that failure by the teacher could have changed that kid's entire path and future. It seems kinda actionable to me. Maybe not against the teacher, but the organization that put the requirement in place (MySchoolDC? SWW?)[/quote]

I'm sure this particular kid will be fine, but it's ridiculous that this could happen.  Don't know details directly (coming through kid) but I think they kept getting reassurances that it would be put in and it wasn't until it seems it was too late.  I can imagine not wanting to antagonize the recommender so it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.  Feel terrible and it's absurd.  I guess this can happen in any situation (that's how it works for college recs too), but it's such a random way not to be part of the process -- who your kid's 8th or 7th grade math teacher was ...[/quote]
