I don't think they will lose as many as people think they will. Coppermine may not have the most glorified history, as compared to others, but a top 2 team in the country is a top 2 team in the country. Top college coaches will be on their sideline regardless of the name on the front of the jersey. They also do have a solid history with some good D1 commits.

Not sure it quite works on a numerical cutoff.  It's seems more related to coaches gravitating toward the top brackets at tournaments.  At the major tournaments the top three or four brackets will normally have teams in the top 20 or so.  Larger tournaments like President's Cup would have coaches watching further down.  They will also watch players on their list even if their team is outside the top group.

Then there the all star tournaments, showcases, etc., which draw lots of college coaches.  [/quote]
