Interesting. I know that there are parents of Beauvoir girls who haven't heard yet. NCS must handle it differently, I guess.
How maddening. Hopefuly, someone will chime in with info on the NCS process. The STA feedback didn't really put my mind at ease. I remember that the outplacement director didn't say yes or no. She said something like it looks good. I didn't exhale until after I saw that thick envelope.
I love the Beauvoir placement director, but trying to listen to what she´s really saying can be maddening. I assume looks good means you´re in. I also assume if she doesn´t tell you that you should be adding names to your application list, then she feels you´re likely to get in to at least one. For those of you who have had to read these tea leaves, are these fair assumptions.
Yes, I would say that these are fair assumptions. I took looks good as meaning that he probably got in. There's just no way that she can give you an 100% guarantee during feedback that your child got in. She'll tell you that she has no control over the final decision that STA and NCS makes. She will do everything in her power to get your child in. Early in the process, she'll have you include additional schools on your list. The woman will work her butt off to get your child in some school. She's a great asset to Beauvoir families.
