It is so ironic how GDS parents are calling the ANC a multitude of names, but not realizing their leadership misrepresented them, their children and the entire GDS Community for 2 going on 3 years. Your anger and name calling are misdirected. Look within people. Lots of highly educated and successful GDS people pointing the finger at others for their own wrong doing. Just own up to the mistakes and make it right. You are setting a terrible example for your children.
The fact is that the school missed reporting 1 year (not 2 or even 3). The fact is that the school did own up to their mistake. Who is writing this stuff? Are you even paying attention?
You are not paying attention. What year are you alleging was the only one missed? HOW did GDS own up to their MISTAKES (yes, that is plural)? You are delusional and the prime example of privilege. It is showing.
I live in a world where when people discover they made a mistake and share that mistake with the public with multiple apologies when they learn of it, that means "owning up to their mistakes." It's the ANC that is delusional to think that they are owed anything else.
Yes, this. Also, I’d guess that there are at least some residents in this ANC who would like their kids to go to GDS in the next year or two…not to mention the many kids from neighboring ANCs who are applying. There are not enough private school seats for DC residents who want them, so why on earth would the ANC want to restrict those seats more over a failure to file a form. If I lived in this dude’s ANC I would be seriously disappointed that this is what he’s choosing to focus on.
Good point. At least some of the 50 families who will now get rejected by gds instead accepted will be from this ANC. He's screwing his constituents with this weird power trip by a powerless ANC.
