Map scores are only a small part of the criteria. 99th percentile below 300 is still top, add a compelling essay and hobbies that stands out and it makes a more interesting candidate [/quote] There’s a poster here who has convincingly argued in the past that MAP isn’t designed to differentiate between degrees of 99th percentile and that there is no meaningful difference between 270 and 310 scores. Maybe that’s what the committee thought too.[/quote]
