I find it kinda funny to receive a card with the annual family update newsletter, when it's already been shared on social media. Yes, we know you took a summer vacation to Myrtle Beach, you posted 56 photos of it.
+1. Social media has cannabalized a lot of traditional communication. Seems redundant to send out a paper version.
and the old way was so much batter.
I think people still don't understand how many folks are not on SM, and don't share personal photos on SM. I know. Unbelievable isn't it.
Not only am I not on social media but hardly anyone knows my email Address or cell phone number. If I don’t get a card back or a phone call there is no other way to contact me. I don’t get how you announce something on SM to someone with zero SM. And people today have a phobia about making a phone call. They only text.
So no one knows your phone number, your email address, and you have no social media? And they're the problem? Pick some form of communication relevant to the last 30 years, or see if they'll accept message by pigeon.
I literally have my phone number posted. Just call me if you want to talk. Also I have no desire to do extra work. My niece told us no photos at wedding she banned cameras. She said she send out photos. Instead she sent a thank you card with a link to a website I had to sign up for to view photos then print in my own. I never even looked. If you want to evite, text an emoji post a crappy photo to FB leave me out. I know you don’t give a crap so don’t drag me into your psychological mommy issues where you do least literally possible as a 45 year old adult so if mommy asks this you wish so I’m so merry Xmas or happy bday you can claim your text or liking their happy birthday pop up on Facebook counts. Face it you had bad breeding, bad parents and you are terrible. I am fine you are a horrible human mean who purposely ignores your aged relatives at as time with even common curtesy of a real card. But just admit it. This people attended your baptism, briss, sweet 16, graduation, got dressed came over in person bought you a gift and card. But now that old and you are lazy you can’t be bother to spend 30 seconds of you life to send a card to make them happy. The devil saves those old cards to create an inferno to burn the souls of those who get Xmas cards loved ones and don’t respond back with a card.
