PP millennial, and this was precisely my question. I don’t think for a second that poor people can just bookstrap their way out of poverty - it’s far more complicated than that.  But as I said earlier, I’m curious how people who were savvy enough to get to the Ivy + missed OCR altogether since it was such a huge event on campus. (I totally buy that the internet wasn’t a real resource in the 90s. It’s a moot point to me.)[/quote]
