At least I hope this is what is happening! The top colleges are aware that many private schools don’t weight GPAs and are very used to evaluating these students. I think it might actually be harder for a top public school student to stand out from above average students if there is a lot of grade inflation. So I hope they are looking for consistently high performance in grades and test scores. If a student gets an A in AP World History but gets a 4 on the AP exam that should be noted[/quote]
