If she wanted to get rid of him, she would have divorced him, a long time ago. This will be a long and drawn out case (if he isn't pleading guilty), and he will not be held in custody the entire time. I have no opinion of whether she is a victim or an enabler, but, given their family's history with law enforcement, the media, and political/religious beliefs, there is no way she thinks turning him into the authorities is going to be the best thing for her family.[/quote]

THis is Anna we're talking about. Divorce isn't in her vocabulary. It's part of their cult - submission, obedience, forgiveness, etc.

I'm wondering if Anna's continuous pregnancies/subsequent kids is the kids' shield. "Take it out on me, not on the kids"...so heart breaking. Sure, birth control would have helped, but let's get real, Anna is not strong enough to pursue birth control. [/quote]
