48, female. Had my 1st Pfizer shot this past Saturday. Today: menstrual pain (belly and low back; swollen breasts; headache; general muscle aches) + light bleeding. Period is not due for 2 weeks and I am normally as regular as can be and very rarely have I had ovulation breakthrough bleeding -- and never associated with these types of symptoms. I will still get the 2nd shot, but very glad my child is not yet old enough and there will be more data before they're eligible.
Pretty much every story about weird/prolonged bleeding after the vaccines is women around your age. I would bet that young women are not as prone to this abnormal bleeding because they are not at an age where abnormal bleeding is more likely to occur in the first place. It is ironic that all these people are worried about their daughters' fertility when this stuff is mainly happening to women whose fertility window is long gone.
