Philip didn’t hate Diana.

She excelled at her job. The people loved her. She made Charles relevant. She quickly produced an heir and a spare. She added value to the BRF.

Philip was likely disappointed by Charles. Charles dragged his feet with Camilla and marriage in general. He couldn’t hide his cheating. He couldn’t keep the peace with his wife. Philip blamed Charles for that, not Diana.

Can you imagine your father keeping a wedding photo of you and your ex on his desk? Speaks volumes about how he felt about Charles.

Philip never complained. That’s widely known. I’m sure he hated whiners. And Charles is the prince of whiners. No wonder Harry is the way he is. [/quote]
