[/quote] I don't think the penalty really matters. It will be be something like 8 life sentences or the death penalty. [/quote] I work with a lot of people in law enforcement. They are consummate professionals. If the elements aren't there, they'll drop it. If one law doesn't apply, another one may apply. But it's never personal. If there's no crime, the case gets dropped. If someone did the crime, s/he will do the time. [/quote]
