You haven’t been paying attention. Of course there are things in the tax code which favor rich real estate investors but yes, he’s a serious tax cheat. Did you read the New York Times bombshell? The family invented a whole company out of nothing to cheat on taxes. And there’s plenty of evidence out in the open that he’s been inflating the value of what he owns to apply for loans and then way devaluating it when contesting property taxes.[/quote]

It's not exotic- it looks like garden variety tax fraud. The investigators will decide.

The donor class isn't worried- because they didn't decide to become TV personalities and repeatedly brag about how not paying taxes is smart. Rich people with common sense know not to draw attention to themselves in this way if they are committing crimes. [/quote]
