Sad that they ousted Lisa. She was the best thing that had happened to that club in a long time. Interesting how they have gone from 12 women coaches and staff to now 4 or 5. Good ol' boys are running the show. Not sure how a soccer coach with no busienss experience can run a club vs. someone with a Master's Degree from Georgetown in Sports Management. Not a good look for them. Word from disgruntled coaches say that PPP was received but they aren't using it to restore salaries or return fuloughed employees. No reserves means no refunds and the hurry up to collect fall fees.
I call BS on this. The PPP loan forgiveness require any entity to use at least 75% of the money on payroll (gross pay + health benefits) for 8 weeks. If an entity doesn’t, the loan is not forgiven. The loan is a 1% loan with a 2-year term.
this isnt fully correct. there are way around that
Please share. There’s always ways around doing things legally, but it’s a direct way straight to jail.
This may help some... https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/878914.page
OMG. I thought you would share something intelligent. That thread is filled with erroneous and BS information.
**** Then intelligently look it up yourself. There are links in that thread lead you to the information that you seek- if you would take to time to look instead of being a keyboard commando. For example... https://www.forbes.com/sites/anthonynitti/2020/04/15/ten-things-we-need-to-know-about-paycheck-protection-program-loan-forgiveness/#12880dea3291 which specifically notes that a company does not have to immediately hire back furloughed employees and the employees do not need to be the same employees. I found that info through the BS information thread. Im not defending either side- Im a parent who has lost money also. Just stating facts.
you are correct. hes not. i work for the state so can confirm.
Sorry that was a smiling emoji but the scripts aren't working...
The PP above is 100% correct. At least 75% of the PPP money has to be used for Payroll. Companies/businesses has until 6/30 to rehire their employees back. There’s a Full Time Equivalent (FTE) calculation as part of the forgiveness to determine if a company maintains or rehires all of their employees back and at the same level. Otherwise the forgiveness amount gets reduced. There’s a lot of misinformation on this and the other thread about PPP. I hope people read the SBA website themselves before spouting false information.
