Pipeline is a good club in the area, how far does the area spread out? Top Club???
Well, yeah. I'm not familiar with the girls side but it's pretty hard to say that Pipeline boys isn't one of the better travel clubs in MD/VA/PA. Their 06 and 04 boys are doing well in national league (well, they were until Covid), 07's are pretty good, I think the 09's are supposed to be good (yeah, I know, little kids soccer), then the other age groups are OK. I think this in large part due to them not sending a lot of kids to Armour, at least in the younger age groups, but still one of the better clubs around. Now if their best players were going to Armour - then they would be a middle of the road club, like Bethesda (non-DA teams), SAC, Arlington (non-DA teams) etc. Pipeline seems to get the best of both worlds - a DA affiliation without the commitment of many (boys) players to the DA until the later years. Whether this is something the club wants, though, or the parents - who knows. I know if I lived in Baltimore, or points north, I wouldn't want to drive my kid to Ellicott City for practice 4 nights a week.
