Justin is very popular in DelRay which spawned him.  He is getting all of his ideas from the DelRay hipsters.   He came to our neighborhood civic association and was using DelRay lingo that most of our older neighbors could not understand.   He is very sensitive about growing up in PG County and went to VCU and has no advanced degrees.    [/quote]

1.  I guess used language about complete streets and multimodalism that some of you could not understand. But that many  better informed people  can.  Not just Del Ray hipsters, but plenty of others.

1.  Speaking of personal attacks, your snide comment about “better informed people” sounds like the sort of attack that you decry.  The people who thought the mayor’s  language was “hipster lingo” work for the Department of Transportation and WAMATA.  They characterized his comments as uninformed and ignorant of urban street design needed to accommodate many modes of transportation.   Some of the issues they pointed out in the original Seminary Road plan and that the mayor said were not needed have been added after the fact following a few accidents on the road.

2.  Not sure about the Facebook comment as that is not something I use.  I asked my social media person at work why people would be removed from a group and the group made private, and he said to contact the site administrator for the reason. [/quote]
