Every one of the Republican-endorsed candidates (Palathingal, Buford, DeStefano, Karloutsos, Tompkins, Bayer, Pafford, Mosley, Ramirez Drain, Schultz, Wilson) has come out against "equity." The very idea threatens them to the core. The Democrats support One Fairfax, but don't agree that it means what the Republicans claim. The independent candidate in Dranesville (Mobasheri) also appears to support it, if means promoting equal opportunities for students, rather than guaranteeing equal outcomes. [/quote]
