Hmm! Romney, Collins, Gardner and Sasse .......... and how many of them have voted against Trump on any key issues? They all talk the talk but they don't walk the walk!

Romney's influence in the party is zilch but he is the new favorite of Democrats sort of like McCain became after 2016. Of course, the Democrats did not have a kind word to say about either of them when they were running against Obama.[/quote]

A lot of Dems liked McCain until he picked Sarah Palin as his running mate. Same with Romney until he picked Paul Ryan. Both of them made their beds - they got in deep with different parts of the Republican base. I'm not sure why you'd expect Dems to jump for joy that not-insane Repubicans married themselves to far right (in different ways) characters for the general.

Yeah. We liked Obama. We also appreciate when someone from the other side is willing to show that they can see the emperor not only has no clothes but is taking a huge dump in public and then smearing us with it. Doesn't mean we want them to be president - esp not with Sarah Palin or Paul Ruan one heart attack away from the White House - but we can appreciate them being willing to say what we can all see. Imagine that! How crazy!![/quote]
