Man, this thing just keeps going off the rails. For the morons or high schoolers commenting on BRYC and VDA, please take that discussion elsewhere. I want a serious discussion about what differentiates ECNL clubs from one another. I still would like to understand what sets Clyde Watson and Nadir apart from other ECNL coaches. I have seen both in action in tournaments but it is not clear to me what makes them great.
You’ll get people that like them saying they’re great and people who do not saying the complete opposite. You sound like the moron here. It used to be fcv and McLean in ecnl and they’d get the best players from arlington, bryc, loudoun, pwsi, LMVSC, syc, sya, etc. The girls DA and ECNL expansion has changed the landscape. Clyde has been great for a long time and cares about the kids and teaches. Nadir has been able to pull in the best players off the reputation clyde built for McLean while they were one of two ecnl clubs in the area. MYS will be screwed whenNadir actually has to develop players instead of chucking them to the practice squad when a new player shows up. The Total Futbol coach network also helps in identifying players MYS brings in at the recruiting ages There’s your explanation for both Clyde and Nadir. When Clyde goes, MYS will be in trouble.
