I've heard that narcissists think they are above others, believe that they are smarter than everyone else and can talk their way out of anything.  She is chagrined at all by what she did and she thinks that she has the upper hand.

Interesting that not much mention is made about her husband.  How could a self made, famous designer business man not completely understand the deep level of sh*t they are in?  No way is he that stupid.  But, of course, I wouldn't have thought that such a successful man would have pulled such a low life stunt in the first place. I understand your point, but Lori did it because she wants her kids to be around a certain group. For example, when the story broke her daughter was on a yacht but she was with some college board member's daughter. You aren't going to be in these circles naturally unless you go to college. I guess you could somehow become friends with the "right" crowd but not as easily as it would be in college. Paid partnerships with Sephora are cool but she clearly wanted her daughters around a certain crowd. It's all about status.[/quote]
