She would have been able to come to the USA without getting married. Her family seems to have the means to have sent her to study in the USA. However if she is mentally unstable (thus cutting her wrists) then the family could not do much or force her to stay.[/quote]

Her family is not wealthy, otherwise she would have already been here going to school many years ago! In fact, if they were actually wealthy, they would have sent her overseas to a boarding school. She's a complete loser, and she married one, too. [/quote]
