One of those children you are speaking of owned and enslaved Turner.  Turner did nothing to deserve being anyone’s slave and the people who died were casualties of war for freedom.  
Harry S Truman killed over 200,000 innocent people when he bombed Hiroshima and look how schools are named after him.

Nat Turner was a great man who fought for justice.  Nat Turner High School is by far the best name I’ve hear in this forum.
