I’m PP. I’m not washing my hands. It’s why no Dems will get my vote for County Board in the near future - they don’t care about APS. I still disagree with the Cambridgemodel that the SB Chair has mentioned in public, which is what you just referenced. However, pointing out that some things truly are out of the SB’s control doesn’t mean that I don’t hold the CB accountable too. [/quote]

CB is the one who washes their hands of the schools. Every year — here’s your money and go away. There is zero consideration of how their actions improve act schools. Frankly, they just want to go about with their liberal policies and ridiculous spending. Most probablybhave their eyes on a larger prize. Make everyone happy and just spend money and force affordable housing (but only in certain areas). Anyone with kids who voted for Katie Cristol better be paying attention. She is doing your kids no good. $100m for a pool?  When we need another high school?  It is outrageous.

It's def true that the CB, and local dems especially, are going to have to correct their course in the coming years. For decades they enjoyed having tons of money to spend and no checks on it. Parents and children were a minority; they moved to fairfax. Now they are staying and making noise. Vihstadt is not an aberration. He is a good politician, but his positions really appeal to who the ACDC is accustomed to ignoring and still hasn't wised up to the fact that this group is growing. If another candidate like JV runs, she or he will win easily. So easily. It'll happen. [/quote]
