The past few PPs have been discussing violence in black neighborhoods.  Please don’t be purposely obtuse.  Again I ask:  what is it that blacks would like whites to do about black people killing other black people?  If we speak out about it, we’re called racists.  If we say and do nothing, we’re accused of ignoring the problem.  What exactly should white people do about violence in black communities and why are we blamed for it?  Do you have an actual answer or are you just going to continue with the PC non-answers?[/quote]

No one said all blacks live together.      We’re talking about neighborhoods in which there is a lot of violence, perpetuated by and against blacks.  And as predicted, you have no answer for what you want white people to do about it - other than accept the blame for this violence that has nothing to do with us.  [/quote]

We want all people to care about all people dying due to senseless crime. To care about anyone that violence touches.  Can you do that?   Is that an answer for you?  Not matter what your race is, your should care about black on black crime, white on white crime, human against human crime.  But no one seems to care about the crime that is disproportionately ripping apart the families of POC.  That's what I want white people to do.  Care about little children in the hood dying like you care about the overcrowding at the JKLM schools.  Care about the 13 people who were shot 
 in DC this past weekend.  Care about the families of the nearly 4700 POC who died in PR.  I mean c'mon, is it that hard to say I don't want children of any race to die due to crime and violence? And that want your government to do everything they can to put a stop to it? Nobody is blaming white people for the crime in Chicago.   But some people stay with the us against them mentality.

I see what you're saying and I agree that we should all care about children dying, no matter their race or geographical location.  Of course. The actual perpetrators of the crime are the ones who should be held accountable.  Not all of black america. And I don't why specifically it is happening, but I want it to stop and I want my government, the government that I pay taxes to, to actively do something about it, to care about the people and stop calling it black on black crime.  I want you to stop a calling it black on black crime.  Because maybe if you did, you actually would care about the people that are affected.  Does it make some white people to feel good to blame the black children for the suffering that happens in their neighborhoods?  What does it do for you to separate yourself from those children?  Do you think it's okay for poor children to dodge bullets and just say well they just should blame their circumstance? Is okay that these children don't have up to date books, or dilapidated schools?  Maybe that's why the crime happens? If your learning environment is like a jail, who wants to learn there? I want MY tax dollars to help poor people.  I don't mind giving them a hand out.  I [b]don't[/b] want my money going to more military, more banks or more rich people. [/quote]
