Because heaven is not on earth. Eternal life and joy beyond our comprehension is the promise God made and he sent his son Jesus to get us there. God does not create sin in this world. That is the devil.
God created "the devil" and thus created evil. Unless you're saying God is not all knowing or all powerful? Or you're saying that The Devil is a God, and believe in a polytheistic system?
God created “the devil?” God created Lucifer as an angel, his most favored and beloved angel. As with Adam and Eve, Lucifer was not content to be as he was created. He wanted to be God. He rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven. Lucifer is jealous that God loves humans and tries to destroy us. But Jesus has already claimed victory and Satan will be soon driven from his place and punished. Satan’s “victory” is temporary.
Did God not know this was going to happen, when God created Lucifer? Is God not all knowing?
Does anybody have a response to this? Is there a Biblical answer? Did God know this was going to happen, before creating Lucifer?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V0STwJ71Zc0
Sorry, buy I'm not watching an hour long youtube video. Can you summarize? Can anyone of any faith offer an explanation of whether God knew what was going to happen to Lucifer/Satan/Shaytan/etc? And how this pertains to God being an all-knowing being?
I wish I could but my summary would fall short of this presentation. The preacher is a highly educated man with a degree philosophy from Oxford and knowledge of ancient Greek that the Bible was written in (in addition to Hebrew and Aramaic). He is extremely methodical in his approach, so my summary would fall short of his detailed explanation. I feel that nothing but a detailed explanation would be beneficial for you at this point in conversation. Meaning, speaking in generalities will not give you answers you are seeking. I highly recommend the video.
