Secondly, even if we assume it is "perfectly legal," this is also about the optics of Trump calling for the firing of Mueller as one action in a long line of actions that strongly suggest he is trying to squelch an investigation into himself. So even if the firing is legal, Congress would be well within their authority to declare it grounds for impeachment or what have you.[/quote]
