Children NEED to scream and to run around. In a house there is a garden where they can do this to their hearts content and can go to whenever, and the house is apart from other houses so no noise coming through. In an apartment/townhouse you WILL have people complaining if dc are too loud indoors and the park doesn't count. Therefore dc are being robbed of their childhood and other tenants are being robbed of their sanity. [/quote]

So your kids are screaming and running around all day? I feel sorry for you. Even kids in school have to sit and be quiet and they can't run around screaming all day. Is that child abuse too?

On weekends and summer breaks, my kids go to the playground usually every day. And usually they go on other outings and such.  You must be the mom who lets her kids run around the grocery store to their hearts content... Because to make them behave would be tantamount to leaving them in a closet for a week. Just because they are taught self control and how to behave doesn't mean they're being abused. [/quote]
