NYTs is reporting Trump will take place in a marathon bible reading. "Now, fresh from a week in which he skirmished with the pope and Christians accused him of blasphemy, Mr. Trump will participate in a marathon reading of the entire Bible in Washington, the event’s organizers announced Friday. The event’s leader, a conservative activist who once ran for Congress in Texas, has described it as “a national reading of God’s law.”" Bets on how long it takes for him to fall asleep?
I absolutely want to see this and see how long it takes him to forget to keep reading and go on about himself. I also hope they give him a passage about a character like him (Herod?) or else the one from Isaiah about what happens to evil rulers.
Again, his segment will be RECORDED. Trump is not a good reader. People who have worked with him say that he can hardly read at all.
Not only is he not a good reader, but he flips out publicly when he encounters words or terms in the script that he is unfamiliar with or can't pronounce. The latest example is questioning the term "corner store." I guarantee he will get right off course and go into one of his tantrums or bizarre riffs on favorite topics like windmills, etc. That's most likely why he kept saying Tylenol months ago, he couldn't read "acetaminophen." Maybe his speechwriters just dropped in the Tylenol logo because he has tantrums when he can't read a multisyllabic word and someone on staff makes the mistake of writing above the third-grade level. And even if he can read well, he won't wear glasses.
