I don't see how the Gden Bachelor series continues after this.  They will probably give Debbie a season as Golden Bachelorette, but then it's done.  The women don't have enough drama this season to make it interesting.  Mel sure as hell isn't interesting.  They aren't traveling to interesting locations.  It IS very formulaic and boring.

The casting has doomed Golden Bachelor.   😞

Completely agree. And with all the single older people in this country it’s a shame! The casting this season is terrible. Mel is a bore; Gerry was at least a nice enough guy and had a fun personality. The women this season are not interesting in the least. It also seems a lot faker this season, for some reason. Like they are all in it for their 15 minutes. [/quote]
