I don't think so!  I read somewhere that the HW have to agree to host (I think 2) parties every season and invite everyone, at their expense.  The trip is paid for by Bravo but the soirees are not.  IIRC this was a Monique Samuels after-she-was-fired tell all thing.  After learning that I took a much less critical view of stupid stuff like Wendy's boob cupcake party.  [/quote]

Ok that makes sense. The parties always seems really fake and contrived so that explains why they do them. I know on some reality shows, each star gets compensated based on how interesting they are (they use viewer surveys, social media engagement, etc). I wonder if that's the same here. It encourages people to be dramatic and stir the pot.[/quote]
