Accepting and privately grieving a child that died from drowning, an unexplainable force of the universe, might be easier for the long term mental health than someone murdered her, or assaulted her and sold her into slavery, and spending the next 10-20+ years trying to prove it or knowing that crazies are on the internet trying to podcast, true crime, reddit the biggest tragedy of your life. I don't think getting over the death of a child is a thing, but seeking to make peace with it just might be. I'm not certain the Halloway's were any better off for all of their or media's efforts to solve the crime. [/quote]
