People (some) on this forum love to put down Valor.  You do realize Valor was in higher bracket than BRYC? BRYC was in the lowest bracket for their age group.  They did not win it. They sure SHOWED UP at Jefferson Cup.[/quote]

Soccer is a cruel sport, especially in slippery/muddy conditions on a grass field. Yes, they lost to another pre-ECNL team in the semis, and that team won the final. Yes, there was a fluky goal by the winning team in the semis and they lost to a kick-and-run team. From a development standpoint any objective observer would come away knowing which team played actually soccer, which team controlled the ball more, which team generated more chances and can play actual soccer. The 2012s, regardless of which clubs contribute players to the Fx Union merge will be highly competitive.[/quote]
