I think its that but also Juan just doesn't seem invested in her. He is more invested in staying for his sons but he is fairweather on Robyn. Add to the fact that he grew up poor, made millions of dollars & is now back poor. He still harbors that resentment. The fact that they had tax issues in season 5 and then topped with COVID is probably making him re-evaluate why he gave her a ring. They are just now are able to begin building back to better, perhaps he is worried about losing it all again?

Juan probably is hoping Robyn will be a go getter like him but that is just not her personality. [/quote]
