If you don't think that ALL of the schools give a little more to the special athletes, you are being naive.  They are also giving a little more to some special academic students and to some special artistic students.  Even (GASP!) when they don't need it.  Because the more talented kids you have, the higher your profile, the more kids apply, the better quality of kids you accept, etc.

And before all of the self righteous people start complaining, I'm not condoning it, although it's fine with me.  Just letting you all know it goes on everywhere, whether you want it to or not.

Now I'd love to say "Let's talk about lacrosse", but here comes all of the denials . . .[/quote]
