Some people are trying to paint a very broad brush saying the majority of a community wants something, when there is simply no basis for them to be making that statement. They only know what they and their friends want. No one should be purporting to speak for a whole community's wishes without evidence to back up their claims. I already called my school board rep's office to tell them that they are going to be hearing some loud voices that will purport to represent the whole community, but that others who feel differently may feel less comfortable speaking out publicly.
