It seemed like a fair inference, since you were praising the diversity of Pimmit Hills, while claiming in the same post that Marshall is "better" than Falls Church, a more diverse school.
??? That's so tenuous I don't even know what to say. Let's break what I said down: PH is a diverse neighborhood with a good school. That's a fact. Marshall is a better school than FCHS. That's also a fact. That is all. Whatever else you inferred is on you.
I "inferred," as you "implied." So there's a free lesson to you in both logic and grammar. Now THAT is all.
That wasn't really a lesson, you're just trying to weasel out of an illogical thing that you said.
Actually, I was trying to be polite, but to put a finer point on it you're trying to have it both ways. Diversity is great if it makes PH sound good, but you keep claiming that Marshall is a better school than FCHS. If you aren't preprared to admit that the reason you think it's better is because it has a wealthier, less diverse student population, you should just sign off now.
I don't agree with you. Diversity comes in many forms, it doesn't have to mean diversity of income, intellectual ability, or an oversize presence of a particular ethnicity. A classroom full of high-achieving kids from different ethnic origins is a diverse classroom. It doesn't NEED to have 40% of poor ESOL kids to be considered diverse. There are other ways of being diverse. You seem to be wedded to one particular version of diversity. That's also on you. That Marshall is a better school than FCHS isn't a claim, it's a fact. And I'll decide when to sign off, thanks.
