No one is trashing or even commenting on anyone's religious standing here. The people we are talking about used to be in the evangelical influencer sphere. Their leaving isn't the focus of the thread, we are focused on their cringey platforms and weird online personas, not the fact that they left the church. This was started as a place to discuss Hatmaker-adjacent influencers who are interesting to a number of us of used to (or still) follow these people. If that's not for you fine but you are misreading the conversation completely. Also it's obviously more than a few people because I've seen friends of Kristen comment, people whose kids go to her school, more than one old college friend of Anna and people who are friends with her ex's new fiance, and people lik me who followed all of Jen's friends for a long time. I think Anna is fascinating to a lot of people because she is just so absolutely bonkers and lacking in self-awareness while trying to be another Jen Hatmaker type. I read this thread with the same energy that I watch SLOMW. I can't look away and the dysfunction makes me feel like I've got my own s**t together by comparison.[/quote]
