Yesssss! Who should we sacrifice in the name of balancing FARMs? GP? KP?
Yes this will go over well. Farmland and Luxmanor walk into BOE meeting requesting Kensington Parkwood kids at their High school because they are whiter and richer than Wheaton woods and VM.
Nope, Farmland and Luxmanor walk into BOE meeting requesting not to eoncentrate poverty in one high school and leave other with 10-12% FARMS when both are next to each other. It's not good for WJ and it's not good for Woodward. KP or GP arguing against it will not go well.
Wheaton and Kennedy families do not walk in to BOE mtg.
Kennedy is not impacted by any swapping. VM will prefer WJ over Woodward( My guess, but MCPS can run a survey asking VM families if they will prefer Wooward or WJ) Woodward will prefer entire GP or KP joining Woodward. It will also keep families with slogan to keep kids together. It's win win over all.
Sounds like a lose lose for new WJ, current Wyngate, Ashburton, GP and KP. Glad this is over.
