Why so much fighting? Union member or not, this Chairman doesn’t like you! He doesn’t want you to telework. He doesn’t care about your family or other commitments. He is certain you are overpaid. He wants us all to turn on each other while he puts on his fake smile.

What PA is going to do is to offer 1 TW day per week to the Union and offer not to appeal the arbitrator’s decision. That’s all we are all going to get. Now to back to work, overpaid peasants. [/quote]

This is spot on. Union will not agree to just one day. Problem for Paul is his Division Directors want to allow regular telework because those Directors are actually trying to get work done. And they recognize how many people are leaving and how low morale is. As a bunch, the Division Directors are good folks with common sense. Oh, and they themselves want to telework. So he can say no but he alienates his Division Directors in the process. Staff won’t ever like him but he has everyone rooting for him to fail. [/quote]

Agree with all this. Also, the other two commissioners (while I don’t agree with them on most things) do not hate the staff and don’t mind telework. PA is the only one standing between staff and telework at this point.
