No, that’s incorrect. There is far more green land on Iceland than Greenland. Greenland is rocks and ice - ice hundreds of feet deep. Iceland has far more exposed land with vegetation on it.

My dad was stationed in Greenland in the Army back in the 60s and always joked about the misnomers.

Greenland actually has more than three times the amount of vegetated land than Iceland does.

Iceland is mostly volcanic desert.
