Jesus just had a VERY good marketing team. With all of the research into the development of Christianity, this is the conclusion I have come to. And because of the power of indoctrination, it really isn't hard to start that ball rolling in the right direction. One generation of people being "forced" or coerced in some way to teach/believe the doctrine is all it takes to change history and end up where we are today...with so many people completely convinced that this is all real.
