America was actually great a year ago for us UMC/rich folks...and it's better this year, but honestly would have likely been even better this year with Harris in charge because the whole tariff debacle would have been avoided.

My best investment return years were 2021 and 2024 in the last 10 years.  2019 was good and 2025 has been good.  2022 and 2018 were the worst years.

However, things have generally sucked for the MC and LMC since COVID.  You also have AI (or at least the buzz of AI) creating tons of uncertainty for highly paid W2 workers, causing economic anxiety to go through the roof.

Nothing Trump is currently doing will reverse it...it logically can't reverse it unless perhaps the Supreme Court strikes down the tariffs and Trump abandons them and then blames the Supreme Court.  Also, stop with the deportations which are actually making inflation worse and reducing economic activity.  The jobless rate for teens and black Americans has now shot through the roof, and manufacturing jobs have declined every month of 2025 since March.
