You contradict yourself - do you want the DC area to reflect the country or to reflect the current administration?

Arlington is not just federal workers. It's probably mostly [u]not[/u] feds given low gov't salaries and high housing costs. Lots of lawyers and tech people though. Most feds live farther out.

It's a county that is highly educated which inherently leans left.
