+1 It has more character. Represents the beloved uncle of the founder and old timey Tennessee country stores which inspired the uniqueness of the Cracker Barrel restaurant chain. There was absolutely no need to change to a bland, boring orange sign that a first grader could have designed. [/quote]

OMG you could not be more wrong. My house is chock full of antiques and estate sale finds and stuff that belonged to my parents and grandparents. I’m the one pointing out way above that people younger than me do NOT like that vibe and the people who do are a smaller and smaller chunk of the market.

And of course it’s fine to have an opinion and express it but you have to admit a huge amount of the Cracker Barrel discourse is about culture and politics and wokeness and other BS. That’s what’s ridiculous. Sometimes a logo is just a logo.[/quote]

PP here. Glad you love antiques and your parents' and grandparents' things. I'm the same! :) I agree with all you said about what's ridiculous politically, etc. I just think the new logo is vanilla and ugly and that some updating was appropriate but that they went too far from their old time Tennessee country atnisphere.
