Please ask MPD and the Superior Court if they plan to correct the last name spelling in the arrest announcement, publish a mug shot, and fix the court docket so that the relevant files can be located with the correct first and last name (instead of first and last name being switched).[/quote]

DC does not publish mugshots. Someone would have to file a FOIA to get one.

Wow. Their reasoning dates back to the 1960’s. Perhaps they should consider that when a perp is on the loose, people can’t call cops if they don’t know what he looks like.

Plus, a criminal who’s on the loose endangers the entire community.

The police publish photos of suspects who are wanted all the time. The suspect in this case is not on the loose. You are mixing apples and oranges.
